Teeth whitening, also referred to as teeth bleaching, is one of today's most popular cosmetic dental procedures.

At McKeefry Dental we use a leading teeth whitening system, called the KöR^® Whitening Deep Bleaching™ System.  This is by far one of the most reliable and effective whitening systems ever developed.

KöR^® Whitening offers a take home and in surgery process or for more effective results you can do a combination of the two.

 

The KöR^® Deep Bleaching System can be ideal for whitening:

• Yellow, aged coloured teeth
• Teeth stained from consuming dark coloured food and drink, e.g. red wine, coffee
• Tobacco stained teeth
• Tetracycline stained teeth - resulting from taking this antibiotic while your teeth were still forming.

The KöR^® Take Home Process

Step 1:  To start, there is in-office visit where we take an impression of your teeth and gum line.

Step 2:  You return to have your take home trays fitted and pick up your take home whitening kit.

Step 3:  For the next two weeks you wear at night your moulded and custom built teeth bleaching trays using the provided whitening gel. This is very comfortable and unintrusive.

From that point on, your teeth whiteness is easily and effectively maintained through using your KöR^® overnight approximately once every 1-3 months at home.

The KöR^® In Surgery Process

In surgery whitening involves a two hour appointment where deep bleaching products are applied to the teeth. Enjoy a movie while the process happens.

We normally advise combing in surgery whitening with a take home kit so you can maintain your white teeth into the future.
